Description:
ProLCD-T050N01 is 800x480 WVGA 5 inch LCD display with UART serial port. This 5 inch display is using IPS glass, with the very best performance of full viewing angle. Driver IC is ST7262, interface type is UART with 20 pins, TSD could also make all kinds of customized design basing on your requirements. Backlight design is 18 LEDs with 60mA backlight current, typical luminance is 500 cd/m2. We could also make other high brightness model for different application.
UART (Universal Asynchronous Receiver and Transmitter) universal asynchronous receiver and transmitter (asynchronous serial communication port), is a general Data communication protocol, which includes interface standard specifications and bus standard specifications such as RS232, RS499, RS423, RS422 and RS485, that is, UART is the general name for asynchronous serial communication ports.
RS232, RS499, RS423, RS422 and RS485 are interface standards and bus standards corresponding to various asynchronous serial communication ports. They specify the electrical characteristics, transmission rate, connection characteristics and mechanical characteristics of the interface, etc.

Introduction for UART interface:
Universal Asynchronous Receiver/Transmitter, usually called UART. UART is a universal serial data bus used for asynchronous communication. This bus has two-way communication and can achieve full-duplex sending and receiving.
The serial port mentioned in embedded also refers to UART, which can be said to be widely used in the embedded field. It directly communicates between the host and auxiliary equipment, such as communication between car audio and external AP, and communication with PC, including monitoring and debugging. device communicates with other devices such as EEPROM.
